Review articles - provide a review and assessment of many related research studies on a topic to synthesize the results. Open access and e-journals - entirely online and free for public use. Reports - research reports put out by gov"t agencies, think tanks, advocacy groups. Working papers - research papers that are a work in progress. Electronic resources - indexes, full-text databases, and aggregators. Literature review - summarizes and assess published research on a topic. Make it easy for the reader to get a good quick sense of the literature. Should summarize the research literature on a given topic. Should focus on real research and not opinions. Begin by reading the abstract before deciding to read it. Don"t make it seem more certain for causation than it actually is.
