The first thing i noticed was the women"s face on the ear of the printed sculpture. I do not know why the women was printed on the poster with this sculpture, there is the possibility of both works of art were created by the same person. Like in the presentation, the line down the middle of her face is a shadowing effect. Her left eye is closed whereas i assumed her right eye was opened. I also first noticed the women"s face even though the work of art that i recognize somehow seems to want to be the center of attention, but it s not. "saving face" is a huge concept in japanese culture, and tadahiro kanemasu used this concept to his advantage. His costume made it easy for japanese people to not worry about saving face because there was no face to connect it to.
