Doctors in no medical center performed a grotesque distortion of triage. Triage : battlefield term, applied to emergency situation w/ limited medical resources as prioritizing of patients based on urgency of need . Doctors had zero experience under these extreme circumstances and treated patients in backwards order. Several patients died under mysterious circumstances; eyewitnesses: doctors deliberately killed several patients by administering lethal doses of drugs. Exploitation of a time of collective trauma (war, nat. disaster) to implement neoliberal policies. ***loans for those who do not qualify for prime rate loans. Federal levees failed >>> no flooded w/ water. Federal oversight of banking failed >>> nation flooded w/ bad debts >>> economic recession. Governor did not run for election in 07. Local elites profited individually from the hurricane.
