Document Summary

Johari window- both people in the relationship have their own johari relationship. Known to self & known to others: open: the only quadrant for both people in the relationship to be the same; info that is out there. Most comfortable in this quadrant but we can become uncomfortable, for example, regretting telling someone something. Known to self & not known to others: hidden remain untold. Quadrant can cause us stress if it is something that we. Not known to self & known to others: blind react to the info. Quadrant can cause a lot of relational: when you discover something about yourself that wouldn"t have otherwise discovered if it wasn"t for that relationship; relationship stress in the relationship if you suspect that there is something blind. For example, thinking your spouse is cheating, telling someone they have something in their teeth. creates opportunity for discovering about yourself. For example, discovering you like a certain food/music because of your friend.
