This competition eventually led to the proletarian who compete with one another in order to raise their status. The bourgeois use this competition to fuel their own positions even higher thus always staying ahead of the proletarian . Marx states that this will eventually fail because it will lead to the proletarian organizing and eventually taking over the bourgeois .
