Critique of the prime of miss jean brodie. The prime of miss jean brodie was a well-rounded play that i thoroughly enjoyed. It was interesting how during the play there were past, present, and future events occurring. The schoolgirls as miss brodie"s set were the past, the girls in their senior school for the present, and there were glimpses of all their futures. Commoners were used on stage during many scenes, which made the atmosphere feel much more authentic. To watch them also looking at art behind the main characters or even. Working in the garden during one specific scene was very entertaining and added onto the audience"s experience. The use of the entire theatre was one of my favorite aspects of this play. The actors were allowed to enter and leave throughout the side doors instead of constantly using the left or right side of the stage, which i"ve never seen done before.
