What would you like to see in your healthcare provider. Do you remember anyone nurse - positive or negative experience. 15-20 min ambulance until ambulance came - worst pain. Patient did not look down at his arm - too scared. Waited 4-5 days for surgery, all booked. Surgery should have been made more clear. Not clear that there was a scar. Trustful with the doctors, parents advised not to take as many pain killers. If you could go back and say anything to the doctor would would you ask/say. Patient asked many questions about the future. Patient didn"t actively express issues about future recovery. Doctor came in in a family environment - talked to the whole family. Nurses were very kind, patient remembers certain instances more than others more traumatizing experiences stood out vs others. When the doctor was explaining the procedure to you did they use like normal/simplified words. Did the doctor tell you to read pamphlets, articles online.
