Criticism grew, iq tests began to fade. Howard gardner introduced the view of multiple intelligences. Gardner demonstrated that the human brain is not only diverse in its ability but also extremely specialized in its functioning. Conteded that different parts of the human brain are responsible for different aspects of intelligence or, more correctly, different intelligences altogether. Reviewed evidence from studies of prodigies, gifted individuals, brain-damaged patients, idiot-savants, normal children, normal adults, experts in different lines of work, and individuals from diverse cultures.
