Evolution and genetics drive the shapes, sounds, and actions of life. Incorrect theories in the early versions of evolutionary theory: Parents could pass on traits they had gained over the course of a single lifetime to their offspring. For example, a giraffe that had to reach for higher and higher leaves would develop a longer and stronger neck, which its calves would then inherit. Genetics and evolutionary theory also had unethical applications. For example, social darwinism was used to justify sterilizing, euthanizing, and murdering people who carry socially undesirable genes. But later on, people used social darwinism to promote and protect human rights instead of dismantling them (social gospel) Evolution is one of science"s best established, best confirmed theories, and thousands of researches have built on this framework. Biological factors shape psychological functioning (biological level of analysis). This question lends itself to natural selection, the mechanism responsible for adaptive genetic changes.
