Employee with a truck, covered expenses, rate per mile. Cents per mile deducts the expenses, more freedom to do the jobs or not. Drop and load: drop the empty trailer, new trailer is all set up to go! Live-load: burning wait time as trailer is unloaded, loaded again. Less than truckload: use of service areas and terminals to drop off/pick up goods.
