Document Summary
Politics: subset of human behavior that involves use of power/influence. Exit: you just leave the country/situation and accept the conditions. Voice: you see a change and protest, complain etc. Lo(cid:455)alt(cid:455): (cid:455)ou see the (cid:272)ha(cid:374)ge, (cid:455)ou a(cid:272)(cid:272)ept it a(cid:374)d do(cid:374)"t do a(cid:374)(cid:455)thi(cid:374)g to (cid:272)ha(cid:374)ge it. Strategic situation: choices of one actor depend on the choices made by other actors. Think of decisions as a game where an i(cid:374)di(cid:448)idual"s ability to achieve their goals depends on the choices made by other actors. Put it into terms of a citizen and the responses of the state citizens then react accordingly the second time. A payoff is how the players value each of the possible outcomes in a game. An extensive form game is where the players make their decisions sequentially. A strategic form game is where the actors make their choices simultaneously. Spe: a literal list of each of the options a player chooses.
