Eating is learned: caretakers, trial and error experimentation passed on from survivors. 100 years ago no fresh fruits 6 months of the year, no refrigerators, no packaged frozen food. Now we have fresh foods but also have completely artificial foods with unnatural chemicals. Nutritional value of food determines energy available to us during the day and our resistance to diseases. Only one percent of population are farmers today.
