Psychological imprintation - as humans we are more likely to choose a form of media that is more realistic, because it leaves a longer lasting imprint on our memories. For example, we are more likely to choose a video over a picture. We are more likely to choose a live video over a recorded one. We are more likely to choose a real life experience over a video. The more real the experience, the more attractive it is to us. Mental markers - psychologically, we need a combination of our senses in order to create a more full picture. The fullness and complexity of a situation is often combined by something called synesthesia. Which when your senses work together to create a more full picture. Preferences at interplay - a person"s behavior is a result of an expression of that person"s internal and external factors.
