9/3/19: the first example is a piece by richard prince title, my best, 1996. This was mainly influenced by the technology of the time where the intertwining lines of the piece took shape in his computer and was then silk-screened onto the canvas. The second example is a piece by eadweard muybridge titled, la nature: studies in animal. This piece was mainly influenced by the belief that in photography humans partake in the manipulation of time itself through the photos, where they capture, reconfigure while also time lapsing, fast-forwarding, and slow-motion to name a few. It was also influenced by french philosopher henri bergson"s study of time, in which he believed that reality consisted of flux which is the movement of time and that. Marinetti used words that ignored the standard rules of grammar and are no longer in linear sentence structures. These words are organized across the page forming shapes that create objects in a painting.
