Channel= how the message travels to the receiver. Decoding= interpret physical messages into a form that has meaning for a receiver. Feedback= responses of the receiver that shape and alter the message. Positive encourage communication; negative tries to limit communication. Immediate which is a direct reaction; delayed. Noise= anything that interferes with the delivery of a message. Semantic is when different people have different meanings for words or phrases. Mechanical is when there is a problem with the machine assisting communication. Environmental is when there are external influences. Interpersonal commuication= one person or group is interacting with another person without the aid of a mechanical device. Macine-assisted interpersonal communication= people are communicating by means of mechanical devices with the receivers *amplification and permanence.
