A leader is someone who can inluence others and who has managerial authority. Leadership is a process of leading a group and inluencing that group to achieve its goals. Intelligence, charisma, decisiveness, enthusiasm, strength, bravery, integrity, and self- conidence. Seven traits on which leaders are seen to difer from non-leaders include drive, the desire to lead, honesty and integrity, self conidence, intelligence, job relevant knowledge and extraversion. Employee-oriented leaders emphasized interpersonal relaions, took a personal interest in employees" needs. Producion-oriented leaders emphasized the technical aspects of the job, focused on accomplishing their groups tasks, and regarded group members as a means to that end. A two-dimensional view of leadership style developed by robert blake and jane mouton: based on the style of concern for people and concern for producion .
