For apa cites, keep track of the source of information by using the author, year and page. Supporting speech material: clarifies the point you are making in the speech or offer evidence of the validity of the argument presented. Materials should be simple, unexpected, concrete, credible, emotional, and story based. Speakers who use stories tend to be perceived as being more engaging.
