Must learn where they belong in their culture and what knowledge not to share with others. Development as a means for insight into the mature form. Knowledge about people"s pasts often give insight into their current thoughts and behaviors. Development shows which things stay with us for life and which things change. Understanding how psychological skills develop is important to understanding the mature form of these abilities in adults. Policies often refer to psychology and development.
