Larger males typically preferred by females and have more opportunities to pass on their genes. Gradually increasing their size differentiation from females. Among primates, males spend more time and energy in achieving higher status than females do, but some studies suggest that females are aggressively competitive against one another. One can conclude that among both primates and our prehistoric ancestors, there was not overwhelming male or female dominance. 5 thousand years ago, western monotheistic religions were born in middle east, full of myths that encouraged male leadership and dominance. Old testament of bible mainly portrayed women as either pure and sexless virgins place on a pedestal or as manipulative seductresses whose wiles defiled men.
