Replication - the repeating of a study with different participants. Replication is needed before conclusions are considereed solid. Findings - obese adults risked premature deaeth of heart disease, stroke, diabetes, & many other ailments. Nature - influences of the genes that people inherit. The study of the many ways i which environment alters genetic expression. Differential susceptibility - sensitivity to any particular experience differs from 1 person to another because of the particular genes each person has inherited, or because of events that the person experienced years earlier. At every moment in life, context & culture affect each person"s past & shapen their future. Multidirectional - multiple changes in every direction. Critical period - time where something must occur to ensure normal development. Or time when an abnormality may occur.
