The ones that write programs are called developers. Image processing software for target detection and tracking. Computing professionals support clients with up-to-date software. Developers who administer networks, web servers, database servers. Model - an abstract(imaginary) representation of the environment and is described using the language of logic and mathematics. Represents objects in computer game, stock market indexes, human organ, airplane seats. Algorithm - a sequence of instructions, similar to cooking recipe. Each instruction manipulates information in clear concise way. Execution of algorithm instructions should achieve desired goal. I. e. algorithm computes collisions(events) between objects in game. Once model and algorithm are made, developers implement algorithm as computer program to be executed on computer system . Program - is described using a language that we understand and can be executed on a computer system. Not to be confused with algorithm, which is described using language that we understand but cannot be executed by computer system.
