Predictability and controllability of events in one"s life. There are responses in threats and challenges to the body from stress levels. Stress is a feeling of threat that you get, which can result in anxiety. What differs most about emotions are psychological factors: especially self-efficacy and sense of control. Level of stress plays a role in whether you develop a disease or not.
