Posttest- remeasure of a dependent variable among subjects after they have been exposed to an independent variable. Experimental group- group of subjects an experimental stimulus is administered. This is used to ensure there is not bias occur from the experimenters. Internal validity- possibility that the conclusions drawn from experimental results may not accurately re ect what wen on in the experiment itself. External validity-probability that conclusions drawn from experimental results may not be generalizable to the real world. Factorial design- experimental design using more than one experimental variable. This is because explaining the purpose to the subjects could interfere with the results of the experiment. It is important to determine whether a description is essential to the experiment and whether the value of what may be learned form the experiment justi es the ethical violation.
