Homogenous groups can be potent sources of self fulfilling prophecies

minority students to a form of schoolwide, deleterious homogeneous grouping

Peer tutoring can contribute to favorable outcomes
Grouping in high school
Assignment to a college track accelerates academic progress but assignment to
a vocational or general education track decelerates it

Children with learning difficulties
Inclusive classrooms: those with learning difficulties learn alongside typical
students in regular educational setting for part or all of school day
Prepare them for participation in society and to combat prejudices against

usually reading → achievement is considerably behind what would be expected
of their IQ
