Xenophon - known primarily as a general was a student of socrates. Less extensively than plato but still important. Text is a discussion between socrates and a wealthy friend crito. Crito held up very well to socrates questions. Lots of people get lost to socrates questions. Socrates argues that estate management is the same as other fine arts. Asks whether all property makes up an estate or if it is split up into many estates. Critobulus (crito"s nickname) says all property makes up a man"s estate, even if that property is in multiple reigions. Socrates asks if enemies are included in one possessions. Critobulus says it would be ridiculous to gain money by increasing ones enemies. Socrates says that you can posses enemies and property so why are they not included in ones estate. Critobulus says only good things are property. Critobulus says what"s harmful is a loss to property and property is something profitable to its owner.
