Private school for the past 2 yrs. Told her friends at school that she thought about killing herself. Increasingly depressed and was having more suicidal thoughts that were scaring her. Mother did not realize that she is depressed she is more irritable, oppositional, and difficult at home. Down and depressed almost everyday for past year. 6 mons: irritability, loss of energy and fatigue. Hard time sleeping wake up early. Feeling like she is in a dream detached from her body depersonalization. More conflicts w/ her peers and more arguments w/ her parents + 2 sisters. Isolates herself and preoccupy herself w/ sense of insecurity world was coming down on her. Scratch herself on her wrist w/ razor blade. She was swimming thought about drowning. Parents have been divorced since she was a toddler. Father move in and out of house (between mexico) Mother was unemployed family received public assistance and lived in poor urban community.
