Tv combines audio and visual which led it to be adopted in homes due to its uniqueness: live broadcasting caused it to differ from cinema or radio. Institutional practices- influence of private industries and public regulatory bodies help drive technological change. Cultural circulation- just because a technology exists and the media pushes it.
