We can imagine and feel through words, thoughts, and dreams. Reading paints us a concept/description of imagination in which we can produce with our own minds. Art and music put our imagination, thoughts etc. into life. The thinker by rodin is a symbol of deep thinking. The sculpture is in a sitting stance with its fist under its chin. Its facial expression also shows the action of thinking. I think this sculpture is trying to express the deep thoughts human beings experience on a daily basis. Art not only requires imagination but it also requires skill in order to fulfill your imagination. Without skill (or learning), rodin would never have made the thinker the way he did with the tons of media he used to sculpt this historical masterpiece. ; without skill or understanding in these creative and expressive concepts, they essentially would not be done properly.
