The buddha says he"ll provide a guide for the children of the buddhas to follow that is in accordance with the scriptures. He"s only doing this so season his own mind. This freedom to practice dharma (leisure) is difficult but won"t happen again. Their minds are momentarily inclined toward merit (same as lightening in a dark night lights up the sky) There are two kinds of spirit of awakening: the spirit of aspiring for. Awakening and the spirit of venturing toward awakening. A person who thinks of eliminating the headaches of sentient beings gets immeasurable merit. In order to adopt that jewel of the mind, they make offerings to the buddha. Asks the buddha to help him escape from all the sins he caused being human. Realizes that he must leave everyone he knew behind, enemies and friends included.
