Writers build characters from their entire background experience. Write a story line first develop the characters involved more in depth. Prepare a bio/backstory that examines significant aspects of the characters" past lives. Build a comfortable familiarity between the writer and the character ensure consistency between scenes and honesty in plot development. Used in character bios to help write a screenplay more vividly. Actions reveal a character"s true thoughts or feelings. Esp. when actions take place under pressure. Lack of action can be as significant as action. Unspoken words can be as valuable as spoken words. The more the audience identifies w/ a character, the more they accept the character"s attitudes as their own. Create specific impressions that affect viewers" attitudes towards characters. Provides the audience w/ additional bits of info as story progresses.
