The opposite is messy, unmotivated, and impulsive. Neuroticism (n) - experiencing negative emotions, like worry and anger. The opposite is emotional stability and calmness. Openness to experience (o) - interest in trying and experiencing new ideas, activities, beliefs, etc. The opposite is being conventional and resistant to change. These traits can be broken down into more specific subcategories. Most people don"t score at the extremes of these traits. Extraverts usually higher in agreeableness, conscientiousness, and openness to experience. These research studies are based on averages and not everybody will behave as the average. Different scales should correlate but may have small differences. May be due to their higher levels of dopamine.
