Transient nature of problematic behavior: common for children and youth to have periods in lives that are characterized by conflict, crisis, depression, stress, and ineffective decision making. Typical and atypical behavior: exhibit unusual behavior, tourette syndrome: neurological disorder characterized by motor tics and uncontrollable verbal outbursts.
