Smart business people know that they cannot be all things to all people. Know your limitations, evaluate personnel needs, identify strengths and weaknesses simultaneously: to this point, i think it is interesting that real life is assumed this way but education systems in particular are not. The idea of being well-rounded is educations foundation. This is how we are taught: different kinds of employees: full-time, part-time, temporary (seasonal), leased, job share, employees with co-employers, organizational chart requires a concise chain of command and finding the right employees to fill these roles. All about efficiency: many things to consider with employees; benefits, compensation, hiring process, etc.
