Delusions: belief that is out of touch w reality, not shared w other people. If the belief is shared w others(like a cult) it"s not clear if it"s a delusion. You can"t imagine that it would possibly be true. Ex: woman thought her husband was having an affair but he denied it. Ex: this truly is delusional- not social, no purpose, no job. His brother in law called and said (cid:1688)do you know about his personal beliefs? (cid:1689) he thinks a bunch of his family members are following him around. He thought some of his cousins and classmates from high school were following him and video recording his sexual interactions. He thought there was a film about him that was marketed nationally. Ex: he asked the guy to checkout all the covers of time magazine to find the date your picture was on it.
