Apollo is also god of the arts, poetry and music. Apollo had many love stories with men and women. One of the most famous story involving an affair includes apollo. In this story, apollo mocks eros, makes fun of the bow and arrows of eros (cid:523)(cid:498)these bow and arrows are for children and not real men like. Apollo tells eros to take care of children matters. Eros is insulted by being mocked by apollo. As a result, he wants revenge on apollo. As a purpose of seeking revenge, he takes two arrows one made of led and the other made of gold. He shoots apollo with the golden arrow to instill love in the heart of apollo while with the other made of led he shoots daphne, a nymph.
