Tragic pertaining to tragedy as a genre. With tragedy, we see a different kind of hero emerging: the changing nature of the hero always has a direct relationship to the society that produces it. Visual effect of the carpet has a significant visual impact on the audience. Tragedy = not a genre of action, but if you think about the performance context (huge, open theatre), it was important for the actors words to reach the people in the back row. Agamemnon entering into the palace = significant moment of action. Clytemnestra"s prayer to zeus: prayer for her husband"s death, is very bold, thinks that zeus is helping her in her plan, this is confirmed for us, because zeus accomplishes was clytemnestra prays for in this play. Sac religious gesture, breaking of the bond with the god: enters the house of her own free will, knows she is going to die and understands her fate that is about to come.
