O what is completed, what is still outstanding. Framework of all tasks to reach goal. Provides direction and goal to strive for. Start at the end and identify the goal. These are the endpoints that determine what gets done and how fast it needs to happen. Work backwards to determine what products, roles and actions are needed to get there. Determine roles and responsibilities of each person. Determine specific tasks to be accomplished in specific sequence. O need to be able to observe results. Similar to work plan but presents more detail. Indicates time lines and who is responsible for each tasks. Tells us if tasks are being met. Meeting as a group means everyone is working collaboratively and is on the same page.
