Two problems relating to gender: it has been absent from our discussions of justice, due to our neglect of gender, certain unacceptable dynamics have been able to persist. Gov should be involved in children"s livelihood, basic applications of the harm principle. There are some things the government shouldn"t be involved in. The perception of a sharp dichotomy between (public and domestic) depends on the view of society from a traditional male perspective that tacitily assumes different natures and roles for men and women. Vulnerability by marriage: socially constructed asymmetric vulnerability. A lot to do with distribution of power. Unpaid work that she often feels is owed to the husband. Women often work more hours when they do not earn the majority of family income. Socially reinforced: relative potentials for exiting the relationship - power and influence. Women are often left with less potential to leave a relationship. Husband refers to it as his money often.
