Poisonings, falls, fires, drownings, animal contact, exposure to forces of nature, exposure to mechanical forces etc. 2010: 90% of deaths from unintentional injuries were in low and middle countries. # of people suffering disabilities annually is greater than the number of actual deaths. 98% of childhood injury death are in low/middle income countries. 5% of total deaths occurred with children aged 0-4 and 23% of total deaths occurred with children aged 5-14.
