Trends in society that affect communication diversities seen from others. Increasing social diversity - this includes accents, cultural uniqueness and our own. Aging population - writing sizes may be affected due to declining ocular health, talking. Social media and computerized communication slower and proper annunciation is recommended over yelling. Communication: an i nteractive process that is a means to an end where an e xchange of information or opinions occurs and is influenced by the context in which it occurs. Message - that what in communication, consisting of verbal and nonverbal stimuli. Receiver - the person who takes in the message and analyzes it. Feedback - the new message that is generated by the receiver in response to the original message from the sender. Verbal: spoken tone, vocabulary, cadence (voice rhythm, tempo), volume. Nonverbal: facial expressions, posture, gait, body movements, position, gestures and touch.
