Among other things, they teach us that there can be genuine science with a different scientific method. The key elements of this mosaic were accepted until the end of the 17th century. Natural philosophy (physics), humorist physiology, astrology, cosmology, theology, Metaphysics, mathematics, natural history (kind of like biology), optics, aristotelian-medieval. Method (cid:894)you"re e(cid:454)pe(cid:272)ted to k(cid:374)o(cid:449) (cid:449)hi(cid:272)h theories are part of (cid:449)hi(cid:272)h (cid:373)osai(cid:272)s(cid:895) Law of natural motion: all elements in their natural state tend to reach their natural positions and to remain there. They thought that every element had a natural position and their natural tendency was to get to that position. The natural position of the heavy elements is the centre of the universe (what they thought was the centre of the universe).
