Socialization is the life long process of social interaction through which individuals acquire a self-identity and the physical, mental, and social skills needed for survival in society. Essential for survival and stability or society. The kind of person we become linked to the time and kind of society we line in plasticity. Sociobiology is the systematic study of how biology affects social behaviour. Social environment is crucial to an individuals socialization. Appropriate social contact is even more important for humans. Researchers have attempted to show the effects of social isolation on nonhuman primates raised without contacts with others of their own species. Harlow"s experiment show the detrimental effects of isolation on nonhuman primates. Parents have failed to fulfill their responsibilities and left children alone or placing them in isolated circumstances. Show positive socialization process and neg effects on social isolation. Rare for kids to live until age of 12.
