Plato interested in the moral goodness, pure abstractness (pointing up) Aristotle by pointing down which shows that he is challenging this; he says we should go out and gather data, and form theories off of the data. Wrote a book called the parts of an animal. The natural world is a world of becoming - a world of processes and constant change (of motion) The analysis of change involves a stable core- becoming involves a steady being and regularity.
