Kohlberg"s theory of moral development- ability to reason morally rests on ability to think a certain way. 3 stages of moral development (age doesn"t really matter) When child has very external reasons for behaving morally (heinz shouldn"t steal the drug because he will be arrested) (student decides to share because he knows he will get prize) Following someone else"s rule (not doing something because you believe it is a sin) Good boy morality (behaving morally because you want other people to think your a good person)
