School counselor works with student to understand they are behaving poorly or different. There is 14% increase in employment of school counselors in 2008-2018. Help clients a disability or life threatening disease or social problem. Licensure: all states require certification, licensing, registration, requirements. Careers in behavioral health: most states require 2 years of supervised clinical experience for licensure of clinical social workers.
