Immortality because we have made an impact on others and on our communities, we symbolically continue to live on vs. Extinction- with death comes extinction a lot you are disappointed with-no one will miss you because of not having made a difference. Central process: social support being involved with a network of people encourages us to believe that we are cared for and loved involve people reflecting on their thoughts privately but also talking about it with others. 35-65- middle adulthood- a lot of years to make an impact on others and do so many things.
