Case #6: police have warrant to search for illegal weapons. This is so unusual that a court will say it can be seized. Arizona v. hicks (1987: facts: bullet fired through floor of hicks" apartment, hitting and injuring man in apartment below. Police came and entered h"s apartment to look for shooter, for other victims, and for weapons. One officer noticed expensive looking stereos and a turntable that seemed out of place. Moved equipment to find serial numbers and radioed them in. Immediately came back that turn table stolen in armed robbery so officer seized it. Case #7: police have warrant to search d"s home for drugs. As they enter kitchen, d tilts down laptop screen.
