There are different types of lesbians but there is not a typical lesbian. Men who are emotionally and sexually attracted to other men. Fun fact: gay also means happy or carefree, but is used today to usually describe homosexual men. People who are attracted to either sex. Preferring one sex over another is still considered bisexual. Many people identify as bisexual when going through their transitional stage before they come out as gay or lesbian.
