Biosphere - the entire portion of earth inhabited by life; the sum of all the planet"s ecosystems. All of the environments on earth that support life. Scientific method - method of research with defined steps that include observation, formulation of a hypothesis, testing, and confirming or falsifying the hypothesis. The 7 steps of the scientific method - 1. Form a hypothesis: test the hypothesis, 5. The difference between observational and experimental investigations - The three domains by which all living organisms are classified - domain bacteria, The 4 kingdoms in the domain eukarya - plantae, animalia, fungi, andprotista.
