Document Summary

Situation in which one allele is not completely dominant over another allele. A pattern of inheritance in which two alleles, inherited from the parents, are neither dominant nor recessive. The resulting offspring have a phenotype that is a blending of the parental traits. Cases in which one allele is not completely dominant over another. Dominance doesn"t affect the genotype is inherited but the way phenotype is expressed in incomplete dominance. Traits controlled by two or more genes. Characteristics that are influenced by more than one pair of genes. Many phenotypes can be influenced by the environment. But we only get 2 alleles one from mom one from dad. Depends on many alleles, hormone and environment. Most things don"t act alone in cell, will interact with others. Hence with mutation, it manifest in many ways physiologically. Mosaicism can be for chromosomal or single gene disorders. Mosaicism may affect either somatic or germline tissues.
